Each of the 365 entries contains an Old Testament passage, a New Testament passage, a Psalm, and a Proverb, along with a brief devotional reflection. In just a few minutes a day, Journey Through the Bible helps readers focus their minds and hearts on the timeless truths that transform and renew us so that we might "discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God." Christy Coleman Schuette is a wife, mother, grandmother, and follower of Jesus Christ. Christy was born and raised in Arab, Alabama. She is a 1987 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in social work and a 1988 graduate of the University of Alabama with a master's in social work. Christy now resides in Bowling Green, Kentucky with her family. In her free time, she enjoys keeping her new granddaughter, sewing, reading, scrapbooking, and cooking. Christy has written VBS curricula and bible studies for all age groups for many years, and has served in her church through a variety of ministries. She is also actively involved in local ministries including Helping Hands Ending Hunger, Curbside, and House on the Hill. Her passion is discipleship and helping others grow closer to Jesus through His Word. In 2021 she started a blog that can be found at www.christysdevotional.com.
